Privacy Policy

HNC Inc. (“the Company”) establishes and publishes the following privacy policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act for the protection of data subjects’ personal information and to promptly and smoothly handle related complaints.

Article 1 (Purpose of Personal Information Processing) The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Processed personal information is not used for any other purposes, and if the purposes change, separate consent will be obtained and necessary measures taken in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act. [Consultation Request] Personal information is processed for the purposes of verifying the identity of the applicant, confirming consultation details, and consulting by phone.

Article 2 (Retention and Use Period) ① The Company processes and retains personal information within the period prescribed by law or the period consented to by the data subject at the time of collection.
② Individual periods for processing and retention are as follows.

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties) The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 and provides personal information to third parties only with the data subject’s consent, or in cases stipulated by law in accordance with Article 17 and Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 4 (Outsourcing Personal Information Processing) The Company does not outsource personal information processing tasks.

Article 5 (Rights and Methods for Data Subjects and Legal Guardians) ① Data subjects may exercise the rights to view, correct, delete, or suspend processing of personal information at any time.
② Such rights can be exercised in writing, by email, or fax according to Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act; the Company will respond promptly.
③ Rights may be exercised through a legal representative or delegate, who must provide a power of attorney according to Form No. 11 of the Enforcement Rules.
④ Requests to view or suspend processing may be restricted under Article 35, Paragraph 5, or Article 37, Paragraph 2 of the Act.
⑤ Requests to correct or delete personal information cannot be accepted if the data is designated by other statutes.
⑥ When a request for access, correction, deletion, or suspension is made, the Company will verify the identity of the requester or their agent.

Article 6 (Processed Personal Information Items) The Company processes the following items.

Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information) ① The Company will promptly destroy personal information when retention periods expire, purposes are achieved, or information otherwise becomes unnecessary.

② If retention is required under other laws even after the retention period agreed upon by the data subject has expired or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the information will be stored separately in a database (DB) or in a different location.
③ Destruction procedures and methods are as follows:
1. Procedure: The Company selects personal information to be destroyed, obtains approval from the personal information protection officer, and destroys it. 2. Method: Electronically recorded information is destroyed by methods such as low-level formatting so it cannot be reproduced. Paper records are shredded or incinerated.

Article 8 (Measures to Secure the Safety of Personal Information) The Company takes the following measures to ensure safety.
1. Managerial measures: Establishment and enforcement of internal management plans, regular staff training
2. Technical measures: Access control for personal information systems, installation of security programs, encryption of unique identifiers, installation of access control systems
3. Physical measures: Access control for computer rooms, archives, and storage rooms

Article 9 (Installation and Rejection of Automatic Collection Devices) ① The Company does not use cookies or similar devices to automatically collect information.

Article 12 (Changes to the Privacy Policy) This Privacy Policy has been applied since April 1, 2021.

Email Collection Prohibition

The email addresses published on this website may not be collected using email collection programs or other technical devices. Violation is subject to punishment under the Act on Information and Communications Network.

Additionally, use of our company name “HNC” or its Korean name in email subjects, or sending emails impersonating HNC Inc. without our prior consent, may result in legal action.
